About the trek

Join with 20 people to trek for 8 days through some of Thailand’s most beautiful and remote regions to raise funds for at-risk children. Visit remote villages and break through personal barriers before arriving at one of our homes where you’ll be greeted by the very children you’ve worked so hard to support.

The group will be made up of people from all walks of life. It doesn’t matter if you are a marathon runner or haven’t exercised in years. The goal is not to finish first, but to finish together. Make it your own personal challenge or bring your friends or family along.

Cost & Payment Details

The next trek runs 15-23 May 2018. You will need to arrive in Khao Lak by 14 May. We will arrange accommodation at Baan Nam Khem Community Centre which is one of the seven Hands’ projects. You will have the opportunity to visit markets in the evening to pick up any last minute supplies and prepare for your exciting adventure. After the trek, many trekkers choose to stay a couple of extra days in Khao Lak to relax by the ocean with a quiet book or spend some more time with the children at Baan Tharn Namchai. We can help you with your accommodation bookings.

To participate, you must raise AU$5,000. Every cent goes towards improving the lives of the children we support. Don’t worry – we will help you find your fundraising feet. You also need to cover your registration cost of $2,195 and all flights.

To sign up you will pay a deposit of AU$500. You will then receive a link to create your own unique fundraising page and your journey is underway! The final balance payment will be due on 1 February 2018. Monthly payment plans are available – please contact us to arrange.
