If you’re looking for a challenge greater than riding 500km, or you would like to spend more time exploring the beautiful regions of Thailand then this is the ride for you.
Starting in the city of Bueng Karn in Thailand’s north-east, you’ll spend two days following the incredibly bio-diverse Mekong River before heading west through villages and rural communities not often visited by foreigners. Following a well-deserved rest day in the middle, you’ll ride into one of our homes, Home Hug in Yasothon to be greeted excitedly by the children you have worked so hard to support.
After a 3-day respite that includes a visit to DIAKRIT in Bangkok, you’ll hop on the saddle again as you head down Thailand’s east coast beside the gulf of Thailand. You will start in the resort town of Hua Hin and cycle down the coast before crossing the mountains that divide the east and west. From there it’s a short trip to Khao Lak where the children from our Baan Tharn Namchai home will be waiting excitedly to greet you and show you exactly how important your fundraised dollars are – not just for sustaining them, but for deeply enriching their lives.
